VagaMundos, the theater festival in Pátzcuaro

“Vagamundos: The Theater Festival in Pátzcuaro” is a cooperative effort by local performing artists with the support of the Old Jesuit College Cultural Center.The goal is to showcase, disseminate, and strengthen theatrical production in the region. 

Since 2023, we have brought the magic of theater to more than 2,000 people through 28 free performances at 14 venues across the region, including remote communities and islands in Lake Pátzcuaro.

We are motivated by the belief that theater and the arts can positively transform our reality, as well as create safe and inclusive spaces for people of all backgrounds and ages.

Long live the theater, and long live the theater in Pátzcuaro!
