Who We Are: Keepers of the Story

We are a space dedicated to safeguarding and telling the story of everyday life in Pátzcuaro, the city of our roots.

In the shade of the arcades and amid the knowledge of our artisans, we chart a course for the thoughtful traveler, revealing a Pátzcuaro that does not stand still in time, but flourishes through the hospitality and authenticity of those who call it home.

This space is more than a guide; it is a living tribute to the vision of Arturo Pimentel Ramos, original author and first Regional Tourism Delegate. His love for Michoacán remains the compass that guides our recommendations.

We believe that to be a good host, one must first be a guardian of one's own history. At Visit Pátzcuaro, our work is to offer an honest and profound perspective to those seeking more than a superficial postcard.

We understand that the identity of our region belongs to its people and its land. We are therefore dedicated to telling our history from within, with the rigor of those who live at its roots and the respect of those who know that authenticity cannot be improvised or transferred.

Our mission is to accompany the thoughtful traveler so that, beyond visiting, they may come to understand the pulse of a region that is the origin and essence of Michoacán.
