Reservation Policies
At Villa Pátzcuaro, we aim to offer a peaceful, clear, and well-organized stay. The following policies help us properly prepare each reservation and preserve the restful atmosphere that defines the property.
Reservations and Guarantee
To confirm a reservation, guests must provide the basic details of their stay:
- Guest’s full name.
- Arrival and departure dates.
- Type of accommodation.
- Number of guests.
- Contact information.
- Payment method.
A reservation is considered confirmed once the corresponding payment has been made by bank transfer, deposit, or credit/debit card.
Villa Pátzcuaro may request full or partial payment of the stay depending on the season, type of accommodation, experience booked, or specific conditions of the reservation.
Payment for Guest Rooms, Villas, and RV Park & Camping
Published rates are listed in Mexican pesos and include taxes, unless otherwise stated.
Rates may vary depending on season, availability, special dates, and booking channel.
To confirm a stay, a deposit or full payment may be required, especially during peak seasons, weekends, experiences, villas, and high-demand dates.
Villa Reservations
Villas require prior preparation to ensure a comfortable and adequate stay.
For this reason, villa reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance..
Same-day villa reservations are not available. For immediate stays, we invite you to check availability in our guest rooms.
Cleaning Service in Villas
Our villas are designed to offer greater privacy and independence.
For extended stays, cleaning service is not included in the base rate. Additional cleaning options may be reviewed upon request and subject to availability.

Payment for Experiences, Packages, and Events
For experiences, packages, celebrations, workshops, retreats, or special services, the reservation may require full payment or a specific deposit at the time of confirmation.
The specific conditions of each experience or event will be provided before confirming the reservation.
By making payment, the guest accepts the conditions of the experience, dates, included services, restrictions, and applicable cancellation policies.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in: from 3:00 PM.
Check-out: until 12:00 PM.
If a guest arrives before 3:00 PM and the accommodation is already ready, early check-in may be possible, subject to availability.
If a guest delays the return of the accommodation without prior notice or authorization, an additional charge may apply.
For late-night arrivals, any arrival before 6:00 AM will be considered occupancy of the previous night.
If you plan to arrive outside regular hours, please contact us in advance so we can help coordinate your arrival.
Guest Room Cancellations
Cancellations must be requested in writing by email:

Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to arrival date may be eligible for a refund, according to the conditions of the reservation.
Cancellations made within 72 hours prior to arrival may result in a charge of up to 100% of the value of the stay.
In case of no-show, a charge of 100% of the total reservation will apply..
Villa Cancellations
Because villas require prior preparation, their cancellation policies may vary depending on the length of stay, season, and specific conditions of the reservation.

Cancellations for Experiences, Workshops, Events, and Special Services
Experiences, celebrations, workshops, retreats, tours, or special services may have specific reservation and cancellation conditions.
In general:
- Cancellations made 5 days or more in advance may be subject to administrative or operational
- Cancellations made within 4 days prior to the scheduled date may result in a charge of up to 100% of the contracted value..
- No refunds apply in case of failure to arrive on the agreed date, time, or meeting point.
- Changes are subject to availability and authorization by Villa Pátzcuaro or the corresponding provider.
- Some experiences or special services may be non-refundable.
Specific conditions will be provided at the time of reservation.
Peak Seasons and Special Dates
During peak seasons and special dates, reservations may require full advance payment and may be subject to non-refundable policies.
This may apply to dates such as:
- Day of the Dead.
- Day of the Dead.

- Holiday weekends and long weekends.
- Summer vacation periods.

Early Departure
Early departure from the hotel is considered a partial cancellation of the stay.
No refunds will be issued for unused nights, changes of plans, illness, personal circumstances, weather conditions, or any other situation beyond the hotel’s operation.
No-Show Policy
If a guest does not arrive on the reserved date and does not request cancellation within the established period, a charge of 100% of the total reservation will apply..
Additional Guest
Additional guests will be charged according to the current rate at the time of reservation.
Maximum occupancy depends on the type of accommodation and may not be exceeded for reasons of safety, comfort, and operation.
Minors
Due to the characteristics of the property and in order to preserve a peaceful atmosphere, guest rooms and villas are intended for guests aged 14 and older.
Pets
To preserve the comfort, cleanliness, and tranquility of all guests, pets are not allowed in guest rooms or villas.
Pets are welcome only in the RV Park & Camping, subject to its specific guidelines and always under the supervision of their owners.
Smoke-Free Indoor Spaces
To preserve indoor air quality and the well-being of our guests, smoking is not permitted inside guest rooms, villas, or any indoor areas.
Designated gardens and outdoor areas are available for guests who wish to smoke outdoors.
Damages, Belongings, and Guest Responsibility
The guest will be responsible for any damage, loss, or impact caused to the accommodation, furniture, facilities, gardens, linens, equipment, or any other element of the property during their stay.
Villa Pátzcuaro may apply additional charges in case of damage, extraordinary cleaning, lost keys, failure to comply with regulations, or improper use of the facilities.
Invoicing
To request an invoice, guests must provide complete and updated tax information according to current requirements.
The request must be made within the same month as the stay or purchase.
Overbooking or Operational Issues
If, due to extraordinary circumstances, Villa Pátzcuaro is unable to provide the contracted lodging service, the hotel will seek to offer a suitable alternative, aiming for it to be equivalent or superior to the benefits originally contracted.
