Villa Pátzcuaro recognizes the importance of Mexico’s National Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Adolescents in the Travel and Tourism Sector, promoted by the Mexican Ministry of Tourism as a tool for the prevention, detection, and reporting of any form of sexual or labor exploitation of children and adolescents in the tourism sector. Villa Pátzcuaro rejects any conduct that violates the dignity, integrity, or rights of children and adolescents.
Our staff may act with prudence and responsibility when identifying signs of risk, suspicious behavior, or situations that may involve exploitation, abuse, human trafficking, violence, or any activity contrary to the law.
When necessary, Villa Pátzcuaro may request additional information, deny service, cancel a reservation, or notify the competent authorities.
Responsible Tourism
Villa Pátzcuaro promotes tourism that respects people, the local community, and the environment.
We ask our guests and visitors to:

Guest Conduct During the Stay
Villa Pátzcuaro is a property oriented toward rest, privacy, and respectful coexistence.
To preserve this atmosphere, we ask guests to avoid excessive noise, amplified music, unauthorized parties, gatherings outside permitted areas, or any conduct that may affect the rest of other guests.
The use of guest rooms, villas, gardens, pool, common areas, and RV Park & Camping is subject to the specific policies of each space.
Peaceful Atmosphere
Guest rooms and villas are intended for guests aged 14 and older, in order to preserve the restful, private, and peaceful atmosphere that defines the property.
Groups, celebrations, workshops, retreats, and private gatherings must be coordinated in advance with the administration and are subject to availability, capacity, schedules, and specific conditions.
Smoke-Free Indoor Spaces
To preserve indoor air quality and the well-being of our guests, smoking is not permitted inside guest rooms, villas, or any indoor areas.
Designated gardens and outdoor areas are available for guests who wish to smoke outdoors, always respecting the cleanliness, safety, and peaceful atmosphere of the property.
Pets
To preserve the comfort, cleanliness, and tranquility of all guests, pets are not allowed in guest rooms or villas.
Pets are welcome only in the RV Park & Camping, subject to its specific guidelines and always under the supervision of their owners.
Responsible Use of Facilities
Guests and visitors must make proper use of guest rooms, villas, furniture, gardens, pool, walking paths, parking areas, common areas, and designated spaces.
Any damage, loss, extraordinary cleaning, or failure to comply with property guidelines may result in additional charges.
Villa Pátzcuaro reserves the right to restrict the use of facilities when there is a risk to safety, tranquility, operation, or preservation of the property.
Events, Workshops, and Celebrations
Villa Pátzcuaro may host intimate celebrations, workshops, retreats, and small-group gatherings, always with prior coordination.
Events, parties, large gatherings, amplified music, furniture setup, external providers, or special use of spaces are not permitted without express authorization from the administration.
Each event or gathering may be subject to specific conditions regarding capacity, schedule, providers, cleaning, safety, setup, food, beverages, and use of common areas.
Prohibition of Illegal Activities
Any activity contrary to the law is strictly prohibited within Villa Pátzcuaro, including, but not limited to:
Sexual or labor exploitation of any person.
Human trafficking.
Abuse, harassment, violence, or discrimination.
Consumption, possession, or distribution of illegal substances.
Intentional damage to people, facilities, or property.
Use of the property for undeclared or unauthorized activities.

In the event of any risk situation, Villa Pátzcuaro may deny service, cancel the stay without refund, request that the person leave the property, and, when appropriate, notify the corresponding authorities.
Safety and Privacy
Villa Pátzcuaro seeks to provide a safe and respectful stay.
We ask guests to take care of their personal belongings, keep their valuables secure, and respect the privacy of other guests.
Guests and visitors are not allowed to enter guest rooms, villas, private areas, service areas, or unauthorized spaces.
Access by external visitors must be reported to and authorized in advance by the administration.
Right of Admission and Permanence
Villa Pátzcuaro reserves the right of admission and permanence when a person fails to comply with property policies, disturbs the tranquility of the place, puts others at risk, engages in improper conduct, or carries out unauthorized activities.
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in cancellation of the stay or service, without liability for Villa Pátzcuaro and without obligation to issue a refund.
