Its structure is the exact point where faith, history, and the incessant and colorful commercial activity that defines this town converge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"5\"><b>The Historical Corner of Independence<\/b> Although it is a center of faith, its civil history has given it an unforgettable character: in <b>1796<\/b>, this parish was occupied by none other than the <b>Father Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla<\/b> \ud83d\ude32, who served as parish priest of Quiroga before being transferred to Dolores. The magnificent roof <b>paneling<\/b> is covered with paintings that illustrate passages from <b>Old and New Testaments<\/b> and the life of the Immaculate Conception, created with a vibrant simplicity intended for evangelization.
